On this podcast each week, weโll discuss all things romance novels, as well as get into the nitty-gritty of real-life romance, relationships, and sex... while cracking each other up. Expect some random songs, funny antidotes, honest reviews, and naughty language.
Quick Guide Review of the Book and Notes
Book Title: Rock Hard
Author: Nalini Singh
Audio Narrator: Justine O. Keef
Part of a Series: Yes - Rock Kiss
Genre: Modern Romance
Synopsis:
Wealthy businessman Gabriel Bishop rules the boardroom with the same determination and ruthlessness that made him a rock star on the rugby field. He knows what he wants, and heโll go after it no-holds-barred.
And what he wants is Charlotte Baird.
Charlotte knows sheโs a mouse. Emotionally scarred and painfully shy, she just wants to do her job and remain as invisible as possible. But the new CEOโa brilliant, broad-shouldered T-Rex of a man who growls and storms through the office, leaving carnage in his wakeโclearly has other plans. Plans that may be equal parts business and bedroom.
If Charlotte intends to survive this battle of wits and hearts, the mouse will have to learn to wrangle the T-Rex. Game on.
Heroine Rating: Charlotte
Shani: ๐๐๐
Bridget: ๐๐๐๐ | I like Charlotte. I really liked the journey of her coming out of her shell and recognizing her power and that the fighting with โT-Rexโ helped her overcome some of her darkest fears and stand up for herself in business and her personal life.
Hero Rating: Gabriel
Shani: ๐๐๐๐ | HOT HOT HOT
Bridget: ๐๐๐๐๐ | Hot damn. Muscles, brains and alpha tendenciesโฆ yum. But also love that he is aware that she is shy and not ready for his affections or aggressive tendencies and that he pushes her verbally to stand up for herself, but doesnโt push her sexually before sheโs ready. She makes her choice.
McDreamy to Mc Steamy:
Shani: McSteamy!
Bridget: Mc FUCKING STEAMY.
Classy to Nasty:
Vanilla but with a dominant edge. Aside from the fact that sheโs recovering from an attack.

Fantastically written, hot rugby player, tons of possessive alpha male growling, dirty talk and loads of spice, insanely hot rugby player, emotionally damaged characters who truly fought to overcome their issues, super flippin' hot rugby player. I mean, what's not to love?
Cover Art:
Bridget: Hot man in a suit that is open and a rugby ballโฆ Iโm into it. But prob coulda lost the shirt :)
