Bridget’s Best Reads

How I spend my days…. reading!
Hey friends, I’m a devote reader of many genres. I definitely am always hitting 52 books a year (or WAYYYY more), and wanna spread the love so you can focus your reading on the best of my reads…. or at least know if you’re getting into an ok one!
If you’re a fan of paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, YA and all the feels that can come from a well-written book, then these reviews are for you.
I also like me some nookie, and am not a fan of romance novels that have no sex. That is just a novel. Nothing wrong with novels, but don’t try to sell me something as romance, without at least a little action! To that end, check out below the different categories so you know what you’re getting into :)
This book was a fun one because I was trying to figure out how they could be together at the end of the book with a HEA wedding, when it goes against everything Lucie stands for.
Fans of this series will feel like they slipped back into their favorite sweatshirt, fresh from the dryer. Warm and fuzzy feelings abound as we are ensconced with the angels once again.
Oh my geez what a fun ride. I thought this book was more lovely than even the first one and really showed the evolution of writing for author Jen DeLuca. Makes me excited for books 3 & 4 within the same world.
This book was a sweet romance of rediscovering how it feels to care for someone and let them in past the outer shell you show the world.
I had been hearing some hype about this book for a while on bookstagram before it came out and almost selected it to be in our contemporary romance season 3.
A light, feel-good Groundhog's Day Christmas romance that didn't quite hit the mark.
