THIS BOOK. Was. So. Good. We were worried that John Matthew was just going to save her, but Xhex retained her agency and John Matthew delivered as a male of worth.
We waited a long time for Lover Mine and were shipping this couple from the jump!

Shani: 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 She is a badass and her storyline is justified. I love her vulnerability in this. She almost lost a point for not killing Lash right away during the final fight though.
Bridget: 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 She is a badass muthafucker and I love her. Takes no shit from anyone. Hated that she was captured buy loved that she gave no quarter and fought and escaped herself. I also love how much she is scared by letting John Matthew but still asks him to stay and tells him she wants to learn ASL. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Bridget: 🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆 I am so happy that after a book of what I like to describe as his adolescence, he has grown up and become the male I was always hoping and imagining he would be. Strong, devoted, protective, sexy and still retaining his boyish excitement and love for her. The big smiles he gets on his face every time she connects with him got me so hard in the feelz train. And he gives away the kill at the end. HEARTS.

MMMMM WOW...
Of all the brothers I was most excited to see where John Matthew headed, I knew he loved Xhex and always knew her issues where going to be hard to bare, but darn if the young boy alone all his life knew the right moves, He is passionate, loving, strong and one of the kindest brothers, I thought Rev's was my favorite, but JM moved him over lol... This is a spellbounding series, long listening, action packed, nerve racking, sexy, I was sad when it was over, I felt I left my friends behind :(...

I was beginning to lose heart the further I went in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series because the of charm these books had began to fade for me. Book 2 & 3 were awesome and "Lover Mine" ranks right up there with those other two books as being a GREAT READ.
