We had an awesome guest host this week for a special episode! Danielle Bezalel is the host of the Sex Ed with DB podcast, an queer and Biopoc centered sex education podcast that is as entertaining as it is informative.
We read Happenstance, a reverse harem, why choose, romance from Tessa Bailey. To be honest, we didn't talk about the book all that much! Danielle was a romance virgin and we ended up talking all about romance, sex in books, sex in media, learning through media, why she choose to focus on sexual education and health after living in Israel for a year, and so much more.
This is one of my favorite conversations, and I was so happy to have Danielle on the podcast.

Bridget: ⭐⭐⭐ - if we did half stars on the pod I might do 3.5, but this book was a fun “potato chip” book as Shani likes to say. Definitely not my fav Tessa Bailey (see Captivated & Heat Stroke)

Bridget: 🍑🍑🍑 - I liked her but I wasn’t overly enthused by her. I thought she was a good main character, but not kinda forgettable.
Hero Rating: There were 3!
Construction worker: if klepto cinnamon roles are your thing, he is it! I actually felt she had the best relationship with him. 🍆🍆🍆🍆
Rugby coach: Them thick thighs. Has the dominant alpha thing going for him. Want to be in control, tells the other guys how to bang her.. not mad at it. but also he got the least development I felt. 🍆🍆🍆
British former porn star: The character that started it all on Tessa’s Tiktoks! It’s Tobias. I thought he was the most fun, as he had the charm and cheekiness. But of course, with some wounded boy underneath. And he can GET IT in the bedroom. Put his former profession to work. 🍆🍆🍆🍆

Classy to Nasty:
Bridget: For a why choose, this book wasn’t especially kinky aside from the multiple partners angle. And definitely doesn’t hold a candle to some of her other dirty talking book boyfriends.
