Indie dark romance Love the Sinner by Avril Ashton was incredibly hot! Detective Gabriel falls in love with gang leader Angelo and they start a secret love affair. Gabriel has never felt this way about another man, and Angelo is in the closet with his gang members.
There is a lot of intrigue and frankly a few crazy story elements, but one thing Avril can do is write the hell outta some primal, amazing sex scenes.

Synopsis: Detective Gabe is straight, but when he lays eyes on a notorious gang leader Angelo and their eyes, lock, he can feel his dick pulse in excitement. When a police raid goes wrong and Angelo shoots Gabe, he wonders why he still sees the bastard in his dreams every night, and Angelo wonders why Gabe didn’t turn him in. A forbidden affair begins hot and heavy… but can they last on different sides of the law?

My first book by this author. Found her book randomly in GR and right form the start it became a challenge. The reason why? Because I couldn't find it anywhere and you know how it goes the more you can't find a book the more you want to read it. But finally, I got my hands on it and it was worth all the hassle.

Very good. I enjoyed it, even though it was a little silly sometimes how unrealistic it all was.
