Book Review at a Glance

Worth the Read?

Shani: ⭐⭐⭐

Bridget: ⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly the best parts of the story were when there weren't any Marian's involved. Don't get me wrong I adore most of the Marian's but I think Luke and Noah could have carried this story on their own. In fact, the Marian moments were more of an interruption than anything. Overall the story between Noah and Luke was cute and enjoyable.

Hero Rating: Noah

Shani: 🍆🍆🍆🍆

Bridget: 🍆🍆🍆 🍆 I thought Noah was hilarious, heartfelt, adorable, fun, kind, and deserved that good D. liked that he stood up for himself with Luke and was willing to go on all the crazy set-ups because he had hope and wanted to make friends in his new chosen city.

Also, I liked that the confrontation with his old ex he was like, Nah bitch, I’m out. and didn’t make it all drawn out. And told his bro wtf. That was uncalled for.

Hero Rating: Luke

Shani: 🍆🍆🍆

Bridget: 🍆🍆🍆 I wanted him to be a bit more active and not so.. You’re my little bro

McDreamy to Mc Steamy:

Shani: M boy with toys  OR MC Lukewarm

Classy to Nasty:

Shani: Classy and I wanted them to use the sex toys that Noah sold more!

Bridget: Classy

Quick Guide Review of the Book and Notes

Book Title: A Very Marian Christmas

Author: Lucy Lennox

Narrator/ Available in audio: Michael Dean

Part of a Series: No, Standalone enemies-to-lovers and fake dating MM Romance

Genre: MM Romance, Gay Romance

Cover Art: Gave me the Christmas vibes. And let me know it was going to be a lighter romance and not a super dark or angsty romance

Synopsis: Noah moves from small-town Canada to his dream city San Francisco. While waiting for his RN degree to transfer, he is crashing with his older brother and childhood crush Luke. And doing direct sales… of sex toys. He meets the Marian clan during his first party, and they adopt him and make it their mission to find him, love.

Favorite Line in the Book

Shani:

His relieve when fucking everywhere, on his chest, on  my chin, on his shoulder and finally the last bit dribbled onto my hand and I brought it up to my mouth without thinking.

One taste of his salty fluid……

Bridget:

Luke is so fucking hot. Sooo fucking hot. And smart. And successful. I sighed some more. I wish I could lick him. What if I licked him? I wonder if he’d freak out. He’d probably majorly freak out. No one wanted to get sex-licked by someone they thought of as their baby brother. What if it was just a tiny sex lick? Like a teeny, tiny, itty-bitty—

Favorite Review

Shani:

Rinkyx rated it it was ok · review of another edition Wow.... This was a good read up until the 45% mark and then went downhill for me. Luke just got on my nerves as he was too much of a lil b*tch imo. Kept making excuses (lame ones) and said one thing and did the other. I get that he has never been in love before but he understood that he cared for Noah (emotionally) and even called him "mine" but ran away with his tail in between his legs and left Noah like a coward.

Bridget:

Denise H 5 stars

*** Cheerful. Funny. Warm. Sexy. ***
