Bridget’s favorite Ice Planet Barbarian books in order

Book 4 - Barbarian Mine with Harlow and Rukh - he steals her and is savage - she teaches him to speak and LURVE - both so protective of each other

Book 3 - Barbarian Lover - Aehako & Kira - she has the translator implant and her’s aliens coming back. Like that he flirts and is like, naw but I’m serious about you, and allows her to be a badass

Book 2 - Barbarian Alien - Rahoosh and Liz - Liz was a strong badass and Rahoosh loved her enough to let her hunt with him even though it scared him

Book 1 - Ice Planet Barbarian - Georgie and Vektal - get’s right to the licking

Book 5 - Ice Planet Holiday - didn’t read

Book 6 - Barbarian’s Prize - Salukh and Tiffany - didn’t read

Book 8 - Barbarian’s Touch - Rokan and Lilah

Book 7 - Barbarian’s Mate - Haeden and Josie

Quick Guide Review of the Book and Notes

Book Title: Barbarian’s Mate

Author: Ruby Dixon

Narrator/ Available in audio: Hollie Jackson , Mason Lloyd

Part of a Series: Ice Planet Barbarian’s Mate

Genre: Alien Romance, SciFi Romance

Cover Art: Loved it! She’s kneeling with her lips close to his blue abs and loincloth with a hungry look!

Synopsis: 'Resonance' is supposed to be a dream - that's when your soulmate is chosen for you. And everyone on the ice planet has hooked up with a big, hunky soulmate of their own... except me. So do I want a mate? Heck yeah. More than anything, all I've ever wanted is to be loved by someone.

Except that the soulmate chosen for me? My least favorite person on the darn ice planet. Haeden's the most cranky, disapproving, unpleasant, overbearing male alien... so why is it that my body sings when he gets close? Why is he working so hard to prove to me that he's not as awful as I think he is?

I hate him... don't I?

Favorite Line in the Book

Shani:

“That will be a lot of mouths to feed...good thing I’m a great hunter.

Bridget’s sexy corner:

“I touch her cheek before she can push my hand away. I am filled with longing, an aching need that will never be fulfilled. She will never be my mate. She will never let me claim her. She will never accept me into her arms and let me fill her belly with our child. Those things will not be mine.”

Favorite Review

Shani:

I struggled a lot with this book. I went into it expecting to love it, but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. Josie kept pissing me off because of her behavior towards Haeden, the story was too slow paced, and I just wasn’t that into it. I ended up skim reading the last 50% or so and the only reason I even finished it was because I knew this book would be the bridge between the old main female characters and the new ones.

Bridget:

Chelsea (chelseadolling reads) rated it 2 stars

This was probably my least favorite of the series if I’m being honest. It wasn’t necessarily any worse than any of the other books, but I read these exclusively for da smuts and this one didn’t have nearly enough of that for my liking lmao so 2 stars it is
